Estos testeos se realizan en el marco del D\u00eda Mundial Contra la Hepatitis, con el objetivo de que los y las merlenses se analicen para detectar la infecci\u00f3n viral. Adem\u00e1s, se brinda informaci\u00f3n y consejer\u00eda a las personas diagnosticadas para que puedan actuar ante esta enfermedad.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cEl testeo es de prevenci\u00f3n de la hepatitis C y se realiza de forma r\u00e1pida: se hace un pinchazo en el dedo, se toma una muestra de sangre y, en menos de 15 minutos, las personas obtienen su resultado\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 la Coordinadora Catalina Castillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Asimismo, Castillo subray\u00f3 que \u201cEs importante que todos los vecinos de Merlo se testeen. La hepatitis es una enfermedad silenciosa, que no tiene s\u00edntomas. La \u00fanica forma de saber si lo adquiri\u00f3 en alg\u00fan momento de su vida, es realiz\u00e1ndose un testeo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Las hepatitis causan la inflamaci\u00f3n del h\u00edgado y se refiere a un grupo de infecciones virales que afectan a este \u00f3rgano. Existen los tipos de hepatitis A, B o C. Estas \u00faltimas dos se transmiten por v\u00eda sexual y contacto sangu\u00edneo v\u00eda elementos cortapunzantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Adem\u00e1s, los vecinos pueden acceder a testeos r\u00e1pidos, gratuitos y confidenciales de VIH y S\u00edfilis.
