La Municipalidad de Hurlingham recordar\u00e1 hoy al m\u00fasico de Sumo y Las Pelotas Alejandro Javier “Bocha” Sokol, oriundo de ese municipio, con la instalaci\u00f3n de una estatua en la estaci\u00f3n del Ferrocarril San Mart\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
El acto homenaje ser\u00e1 esta tarde a las 18.30 en la esquina de Av. Jauretche y Remedios de Escalada, en la entrada de la estaci\u00f3n Hurlingham del Ferrocarril San Mart\u00edn, en un encuentro que reunir\u00e1 a familiares y amigos del m\u00fasico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La obra, que mide dos metros y pesa una tonelada y medio, fue realizada por el artista Adri\u00e1n “Bachi” Delorto y donada a la Municipalidad por Marcelo Jorge Fiori Quercetti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La decisi\u00f3n del intendente Juan Zabaleta de homenajear a Sokol fue compartida por las autoridades de Ferrocarriles Argentinos a trav\u00e9s del responsable de la l\u00ednea San Mart\u00edn, Luciano Hass.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En ese sentido, el jefe comunal explic\u00f3: “Recordar a Sokol con la instalaci\u00f3n de esta estatua en la estaci\u00f3n de ‘su Hurlingham’, nos permite seguir poniendo en valor nuestro patrimonio cultural, destacando as\u00ed a una figura emblem\u00e1tica del rock argentino”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
En tanto, Rody Rodr\u00edguez, secretario de Cultura del municipio, dijo a esta agencia: “Hurlingham tiene un v\u00ednculo muy fuerte con la m\u00fasica en general y en particular con el rock, justamente por artistas como Alejandro Sokol al que homenajeamos hoy, en el d\u00eda de su cumplea\u00f1os, porque al Bocha se lo celebra”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
